Long weekend, part I:

‣ The third annual Silver Lake Jubilee street festival goes off on Santa Monica Boulevard between Sunset and Hoover, with Kinky (pictured) and Autolux headlining the two main stages. Things get going around noon. Full set times after the jump.
‣ Glenn Frey headlines the Wiltern behind his new solo album of standards.
Bad Veins plays an early show at the Echo behind their new album “The Mess We’ve Made.” Kiev and Orange Umbrella support.
‣ San Francisco electro-pop quintet Loquat visits the Satellite, with United Ghosts, Spero and Professor Possessor opening.
‣  Freedy Johnston plays the Mint behind the release of his 11th album, “Rain on the City.”
‣ And indie quartet Hands celebrates the release of their “Massive Context” EP with an in-store at 7 p.m. at Origami Vinyl.
