Tonight in L.A.: The Henry Clay People, Meiko, Harriet, Caught a Ghost, Baron Von Luxxury/Harlan

Nothing mundane about this Monday:

‣ If this isn’t the most helter-skelter It’s a School Night ever, you can slap my hand with a ruler. On the bill (chronologically) for the RSVP-only night at Bardot are Malibu-bred beach-vibe duo Brandon & Leah; followed by Bobby Woods’ horn- and string-laden Les Deux Love Orchestra featuring special guest Robert Lamm of Chicago (yes, that Chicago); followed by young folk songstress Alaska Reid [pictured]; followed by prickly indie-rockers the Henry Clay People. Oh, and there’s a Penguin Prison DJ set. Somewhere, something will fly off its axis.
Meiko does the first of a two-night stint at the Hotel Cafe leading up to the release of her sophomore album, “The Bright Side,” out Tuesday.
‣ Frisky four-piece Harriet continues its residency at the Bootleg Theater, supported by Chasing Kings, Pratley and Busy Living (Mike Moonves, formerly of Chief).
Caught a Ghost’s “Hereafter”-themed residency has another life at the Satellite, supported by Sweaters and more.
‣ And Baron Von Luxxury and Harlan continue their tag-team residency at the Echo, with Blondfire on board tonight.
