So many nice shows tonight, and we’ll selfishly start with our own:

‣ It’s a jam-packed night for Buzz Bands LA’s monthly songwriter excursion at Lot 1 Cafe, headed up by singer-songwriter Ethan Gold (that’s the video for “Why Don’t You Sleep?,” off last year’s album “Songs from a Toxic Apartment”). Boys School kicks off the night (9:15), followed by the Record Company (10), Gold (10:45) and Laura Meyer.
Dante Vs Zombies celebrates the release of their new album “Buh” at the Echo, supported by the Hallucinations, New Life and Daybeds.
‣ Brooklyn-based Danish singer-songwriter Oh Land heads up the festivities at Check Yo Ponytail at the Echoplex.
Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth brings his band to headline the Satellite. Opening are Lady Noise and Nightmare Air.
‣ And Garbage is back for a second sold-out night at the El Rey Theatre.
