If you saw the video for their single “Big Broom,” you figured there might be balloons at Races’ album-release party. The L.A. sextet did not disappoint Friday night at the Echo. To mark last week’s release of their debut album “Year of the Witch” on Frenchkiss Records, the collective of Wade Ryff, Garth Herberg, Devon Lee, Breanna Wood, Oliver Hild and Lucas Ventura were in a festive mood for the sold-out show. Fans also got bewitching sets from Incan Abraham and Living Things to start the night.
