[Check out these new songs from three massive albums we anticipate this year…]

Japandroids, “The House That Heaven Built” – When we last saw Japandroids play an FYF Fest set, they revealed a few new songs as they were busy recording their long-awaited follow-up their 2009 debut “Post-Nothing.” We finally have a taste of the forthcoming record titled “Celebration Rock” (out June 5 via Polyvinyl), and “The House That Heaven Built” is another tasty slice of pop-punk featuring explosive guitar riffs and drumming from the Vancouver-based duo.

Titus Andronicus, “Upon Viewing Oregon’s Landscape with the Flood of Detritus” – Patrick Stickles may no longer be sporting a beard and Amy Klein is no longer playing violin, but Titus Andronicus still channels their New Jersey angst best in new albums. The band is, indeed, working on a follow-up to “The Monitor,” but this new track will actually be on the forthcoming 7-inch split with Diarrhea Planet (who have been touring with Screaming Females and Titus Andronicus).

Bear In Heaven, “Sinful Nature” – The release of 2010’s “Beast Rest Forth Mouth” garnered Brooklyn’s Bear In Heaven some critical acclaim – especially for their live shows. They return with “I Love You, It’s Cool” (out on April 3 on Dead Oceans and Hometapes) and a single that refreshes their knack for a great combination of atmospherics, drone and electro-rock.
