Their name may sound silly, but Jacuzzi Boys have quickly shifted the focus from their frivolous moniker to the liveliness in their music during the last couple of years. The Miami, Fla.,-based trio’s 2009 debut “No Seasons” was a record bursting with  ”˜60s-leaning pop-punk tunes, and their accompanying boisterous shows have earned them fans such as Iggy Pop. Their sophomore record “Glazin’” (out now via Hardly Art) is yet another irresistible garage-rock album, even with their scuzzy soundscapes heavily doused in glam this time around. It’s hard to deny that Gabriel Alcala, Diego Monasterios and Danny Gonzalez have softened their edges, but not without tightening up the melodies. Both the sneer and strut in Alcala’s vocals undoubtedly remain, but newer songs such as “Cool Vapors” offer a better pop sheen which takes the lo-fi foundation of surf and psychedelia as far as it can go.
