Thursday’s menu:

‣ Irish rockers Two Door Cinema Club visit the Wiltern Theatre, with local quintet Grouplove opening. Above is  Grouplove’s recent video for “Tongue Tied,” off its debut “Never Trust a Happy Song.”
The Janks celebrate the release of their album “Hands of Time” with a show at the Bootleg Theater. American Tomahawk opens. [Check out the Janks’ “Dead Man” here.]
Joseph Arthur (who appears on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” this morning) swings back through L.A. behind his May release “The Graduation Ceremony.” He headlines the Troubadour.
Graffiti 6 also returns to L.A. for a date at the Hotel Cafe.
Aaron Embry will be showcasing some new material in a solo acoustic set at the Viper Room – also playing are Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights and Red Circle Underground.
‣ Good local bill at the Roxy, featuring Andy Clockwise, Useless Keys, Queen Caveat and more.
‣ And L.A. songstress Mia Doi Todd, joined by Bleached, appears at this edition of “This Is Your Library” at the Central Library downtown. The talk show-type affair also features cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz, humorist Charles Phoenix and butchers Lindy and Grundy.
