This qualifies as a Monster Monday:

Bon Iver plays the first of two L.A. dates, tonight at the Shrine, and equally good, for our money, are tourmates Other Lives, whose album “Tamer Animals” will end up near the top of BBLA’s 2011 lists.
James Blake and Teengirl Fantasy do a second night at the Music Box.
Ivy’s first album since 2005, “All Hours,” comes out Tuesday, and the trio (Dominique Durand, Andy Chase and Andy Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne) plays the free, RSVP-only It’s a School Night at Bardot, with two local bands opening, Races and Duniven.
‣ It’s a stellar evening for Monday night residencies too, starting with Big Black Delta and War Widow at the Satellite (along with Kristeen Young and the M.I.D.S.).
‣ Excellent Bootleg Theater residents Big Moves a night full of goodies too, with LA Font and Yoya supporting along with Australia’s the Preachers.
Kissing Cousins and Writer continue their tag-team residency at the Echo, along with newbies Rainbow Jackson.
‣ And Exitmusic and Jack and White head up a good local bill at the Silverlake Lounge, along with Peachy Keene and Rainman.
