Video: Fleet Foxes, ‘Grown Ocean’

It took Fleet Foxes three years to announce a new album to follow-up their self-titled debut. Will “Helplessness Blues” (due May 3 via Sub Pop) be worth the wait? Depends on your appetite for the Seattle band’s lush harmonies. The title track and “Grown Ocean” both continue to reflect folk-rock inspirations from the ’60s and ’70s. However, new instruments such as the slide guitar have shown up in these songs, which take the band’s sound more into Americana territory.
