Top 5 shows on a very good night for local music:

‣ It’s officially the release date for Olin & the Moon’s new album “Footsteps” – the L.A. quintet (augmented by string players) is celebrating with a Tuesday residency this month at the Echo, where tonight Coyol and Paulie Pesh support.
Willoughby, with Henry Wolfe, plays the Hotel Cafe. I don’t think I ever posted the video for Willoughby’s “Frankenstein,” so here you have it. The song is from 2008’s “I Know What You’re Up To,” which is well worth tracking down.
‣ All Spots to Black and the Sweet Hurt play the Silverlake Lounge.
‣ At Radio Free Silverlake’s Tuesday party at LaBrie’s in Glendale, residents the Monolators are joined by Kissing Cousins and Hexham Heads.
‣ And Stacy Clark plays the District in Tustin as part of the Orange County Music Awards showcase for best acoustic act.

Also: Modern Time Machines at the Viper Room; Pictureplane and Teengirl Fantasy at the Echoplex; the Goodnight Noises and Chris Accardo at the Central in Santa Monica; P.J. Morton at the Troubadour; Monte Negro at the Roxy; Tim Minchin at Largo; Goldenboy at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa; Cinderella Motel at the Redwood; That 1 Guy at the Mint; and Fashen at Dim Mak Tuesdays at Cinespace.
