[Birthday greetings today to designer fashion magnate Liam Gallagher …]
My top 4 Tuesday outings:
‣ Bloc Party main man Kele plays the Music Box behind his solo album “The Boxer,” and Does It Offend You, Yeah? opens.
‣ Ratatat, with its new album “LP4” just out, plays Club Nokia.
‣ The Parson Red Heads’ farewell-to-L.A. show goes off at the Echo, with Red Cortez supporting.
‣ Funeral Party continues its Bootleg Theater residency, but get there early for the Belle Brigade.
Your tastes may vary: Efterklang at the Troubadour; the Jim Jones Revue and the Dance Party at the Viper Room; Typhoon and Y La Bamba at Spaceland; Anna Nalick and Megan Jacobs at the Hotel Cafe; Rhett Miller at Largo; Adam Heldring at the Silverlake Lounge; Hair Nation at the Roxy; Furthur featuring Phil Lesh & Bob Weir at the Greek Theater; A Pretty Mess at the Redwood; and Kristina Antuna at the Mint.
