‣ Portland art-rock trio Menomena (joined by Brooklyn’s Suckers, pictured) play the El Rey Theatre. Menomena’s new album “Mines” is its best yet.
‣ The Chapin Sisters celebrate the release of their new album “Two” [download here] at the Echo, where Hi Ho Silver Oh and the Finches support.
‣ And Red House Painters main man Mark Kozelek does the first of two nights at Largo.
